Noit Banai: Processing the Contemporary

Thanks to everyone who helped make the first talk in our series Navigating the Labyrinth a rousing success! Please join us for the second event on Tuesday, April 13 at 3:30 pm, when art scholar Dr. Noit Banai will present her talk, Processing the Contemporary.

Noit Banai is a Lecturer of Modern and Contemporary Art at Tufts University and SMFA. Her critical writings have appeared in magazines such as Artforum International, Frieze, Modern Painters, and Art Papers, and in catalogue essays for art institutions such as the Schirn Kunsthalle, Centre Georges Pompidou, Barbican Arts Gallery, Americas Society, Bronx Museum of the Arts, and Artists Space. She is currently completing a book on the artist Yves Klein for Reaktion Books in London and revising her dissertation into a book-length study titled "Public Disorder: Politics and Aesthetics in France, 1945-1968."

Don't miss her unique perspective on how, why, and what we read!
